We are the result of two small businesses coming together. The Digital Gene started life in 2018 as a digital marketing duo.
Clear Chaos was formed in 2010 by our technical director and lead developer, Gary. Well known in Teesside for his web development and software expertise we saw this as an ideal opportunity to combine our resources to further fuel our growth.
We completed our merge at the height of the pandemic in April 2020. We think we deserve a big pat on the back for that achievement alone!

We've worked remotely even before COVID-19 appeared and locked the whole world down.
Since 2022 we've chosen a hybrid style of working so you'll now find us working some days from our office at Level Q in Stockton-On-Tees.
