COVID-19 Update From Your Friendly Web Design Company, The Digital Gene

From day one  when we started up The Digital Gene we have been and continue to be a remote first team. That was and still is our business model. To be lean and agile and offering our clients the best most knowledgable experts in web and ecommerce site building.

We didn´t add a COVID-19 message at the beginning of lockdown because it felt business as usual for us at the time. As the weeks progressed we thought we better add something to our website for our visitors.

In a nutshell, we didn´t need a contingency plan. Our remote team is spread the North of England.

As the world moves to dare I say it ... ´the new normal´?  Hands up whose sick and tired of that phrase already? I thought I´d publish an update.

With The Digital Gene you get large agency expertise with small agency fees. That was my desire when I set the business up. Keeping the costs our clients pay about knowledge and not about office space and rent and rates and overheads. Here you pay for everything we´ve learned and experienced and built and created over our digital careers. With our core team of myself, Gary, Declan and Sarah that´s over forty years collective experience in websites, ecommerce, software and design. Add to that number the years our specialist ´Gene-iuses´ have accrued and you´re well over the 100 years mark. We´re a growing fountain of digital knowledge!

So that´s it, a COVID-19 update from us.  All new and existing projects continue to be scheduled as 'normal'.
